Taylor has arrived!!!

Finally our beautiful daughter has arrived! Taylor Ann Lease was born 12/19/08 at 4:14pm. She was 7lbs 11oz and 20.5 in of absolute perfection! It is amazing how the minute you see your child your entire life changes. All of the things you used to worry about just seem to go away. It is a wonderful feeling. Zach and I just can't help but stare at her. We just stare and wonder how we can make such a beautiful and perfect child. We are enjoying every minute with her!

Luckily Zach is taking 3 weeks off to stay home with Taylor and I. It will be great for all of us to spend that time together. We just can't wait to see what each day brings us!! We are very lucky to have each other and our beautiful Taylor.

Nursery is complete....now we need a baby!

I finally finished the nursery this afternoon! I know, I know pretty last minute since we only have 2 weeks before the induction. I am very happy with the way the nursery turned out. Zach did a great job picking out the very comfortable chair for her room. I never saw the chair before it was placed in the nursery.
We are ready to meet Taylor! We are beyond excited. Not only is it Christmas, which is our favorite time of year, but we get to bring home the best present!

Only 16 more days!!!

Baby Shower

This weekend a few girls from my office had a baby shower for me. It turned out great!! We played games and had a blast. Sarah J. was determined to win the clothes pin game. She would run after anyone who said the forbidden words (Taylor or Baby). It was hilarious to watch her. I was so happy that so many friends showed up and I couldn't believe all of the gifts we got. It was overwhelming the amount of gifts we brought home! This child will never be able to wear all of her clothes. That is ok, a girl needs lots of choices!

Since we had the shower this weekend my Mom came and stayed with us. It was fun to have her around. We went and bought everything else that was needed to finish the nursery! That makes me a lot more stress free! All we need to do now is hang a few things on the wall and the nursery is complete!! We are still waiting on our rocker to get here. Hopefully it will come in within the next week or so. I will post pics as soon as we get it all together!
I have to go see the doctor in the morning and this will start my weekly visits with him. At the last visit he told Zach and I that he would induce a week early, so we were very excited to hear that. My plan in the morning is to ask for a date that he will induce. We are really hoping for Dec 19th, that would be great. We do not want to be in the hospital at Christmas! I will keep everyone posted on what date we get! Hopefully I will know in the morning! It is almost time for her to come. Only 4 weeks left!!!

I haven't been very good with updating the blog, so I will add a few pics that I know people want to see!
The adorable outfit Hannah had made for Taylor!!

35 weeks, only 4 weeks to go!!

4D Ultrasound

Today Zach and I finally got to do our 4D ultrasound. We have been looking forward to this for a while now! It was amazing, to say the least, to see all of her facial features. She never would move her arm from over her face, but we were able to get a lot of good pictures anyway. I can't believe I am already 30 weeks!! We don't have very much longer to go. After seeing her today, we are even more excited for her to get here.

We got Taylor's bedding in a few weeks ago. I just love it!! We started ordering other decorations to put in her nursery. We are slowly putting everything together. I can't wait to see the final product!
Zach and I have been doing great! We are enjoying having our own home! We have just been busy with work and trying to get ready for Taylor's arrival. I haven't started decorating the house yet, but I figure I have plenty of time to work on that! We are more worried about getting Taylor's room together. So if you ever visit our home, the only room that will be finished is the nursery! We have our priorities straight already! :)
I hope everyone enjoys the 4D pictures of our baby girl!

Our New Home!!

Well we got all moved last weekend, but of coarse there is still more work to be done. We are very excited to finally own our first home! Buying a house was a lot of hard work. We closed on the house today and my hand was cramping by the time we were finished! It is funny how your signature starts off legible but before its over, no one can even read who signed it.
I can't wait to start decorating especially the nursery! It is going to be a lot of fun to see how the house turns out when it is all finished. I will post pictures of the inside when we get a few more things done. But to hold everyone over here are a few pics of the outside.

Molly was tired before we got everything moved from Cabot.

Our first blog

I have been looking at others blog posts and I thought what a great way to keep our friends and family updated on what is happening in our lives! Plus, this will be a great time consuming hobby for me, since I spend hours on end surfing the web anyway! Now I can put my effort into this and keep everyone updated with pictures and text. You will just have to bare with me as I learn how to use the blogspot!

Right now our lives have been crazy! I started my job at Saline Orthopedic Group in Benton and I absolutely love it! I have been very busy trying to get used to the way everything is done around the office as well as trying to get my license with the state. Zach is staying busy with his work as well! He is just trying to make NLR a safer place...ha!

Our major stress right now is all from trying to buy our very first home! We are so excited about making a home before Taylor arrives, but no one warned us about the hassle that comes with buying a house. It has been a learning experience. We just never knew when something was going to be done. Now we are just eager to get moved in and settled so we can start on the nursery. The latest news today was that we should be able to close tomorrow afternoon. We are keeping our fingers crossed! With that being said, I guess I should go finish packing!

More blog and pictures to come!
